Accessibility Assistant Job Information
Accessible Events are looking for confident and enthusiastic Accessibility Assistant Managers to support the delivery of accessible services at major UK festivals and events, including Lytham Festival, Boardmasters, Truck Festival, Forwards Festival, Waterworks Festival, Gone Wild Festival, and Love Saves The Day.
This role bridges the gap between Accessibility Manager and Access Team Volunteers, offering hands-on leadership experience within a supportive and inclusive environment.
What Does the Accessibility Team Do?
The Accessibility Team ensures that all d/Deaf, neurodivergent and disabled customers have a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience at the event.
As an Assistant Manager, you will help oversee day-to-day access operations on-site, support volunteers and assistants, and work closely with the Accessibility Manager to deliver best practice across the event.
You will gain valuable insight into how accessibility is delivered at large-scale music events and develop a working understanding of the Attitude is Everything Charter of Best Practice. Our partner festivals are working towards Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum awards, and you will play an important role in helping them meet these standards.
